Default your favs from Whole Foods/Earthfare stores

When DD was just eating baby food, I would drive an hour and a half to the closest Whole Foods or Earthfare in order to get Earth's Best. Now that she is eating finger foods, I'll continue my drive once a month. I want to make sure that I don't miss any goodies on my trip. Please send me your favorites (especially finger foods) from Whole Foods (or Earthfare), so I can compile a list! :)

    Thanks!

Well, luckily we don't have to drive that far but really her favorite finger foods are pretty easy to do, regardless of your store. Some of these are for once they have chewing under control pretty well. DD only has two tiny bottom teeth but is teething about 7 other teeth and she can handle all of this.

I know I'm missing some, but off the top of my head:

    - Oatios (or any other organic O-shaped oat cereal
    - homemade, baked sweet potato "fries"
    - mango, pears, banana, blueberries (cut in half), grapes (quarters)
    - cooked zucchini, winter squash, carrots, brocoli (chunks or spears)
    - grated apple
    - tofu
    - cheese
    - scrambled egg yolks with cheese
    - toast strips (with butter, cheese or pureed veggies/fruit spread on them)
    - vegan waffles (egg free)

We just got some Veggie Booty to try this week.

Mari is very interested in feeding herself now so we are constantly exlporing new ideas!

In addition to the regular fruits and veggies steamed or raw and cut up, Veggie Booty is great! Also Healthy Times teething biscuits. They also make a finger food I think Teddy Puffs?? Avocados are great too!
