How to resemble the Playtex Ventaire Bubble free Bottle?

I just purchased a Playtex Ventaire Bubble Free Bottle this afternoon. I tried to assembled the bottles but I find myself getting stucked in putting the vent disc (the white plastic disc) before putting the bottom screwed cap. It said one said is facing up, but I am not sure which side is up and which side is down. Can someone help me out?

The plastic "knob" faces up in the bottle. One side of the plastic cover has a "knob" that sticks up and that end should be facing into the bottle. Does that make sense?
