Default RE: Nursing on the plane? Hubby strongly against it. What to do?

One more supporter for nursing on the plane. It truthfully is much easier than you are envisioning. Try to sit by the window and relax. We took our 9 month old to Greece and back with no bottles. I doubt anyone even noticed. Good luck.

Ask your DH if he would eat his lunch in the airplane restroom? I think not.

One time I had to nurse DD#1 on a plane. It was a very full flight, I had the window seat and was next to 2 businessmen. She had to eat, so I nursed her on the side closest the window. The guys were so nice about it - the man immediately next to me had a wife who was due in a couple of months so he was especially kind.

Every time I have nursed on the plane it has been so helpful to the baby. They have always fallen right asleep and then slept for hours. No problems with takeoffs or landings. Other passengers will really appreciate a quiet baby that's been breastfed over a cranky one that is being refused nursings!
