It seems like everyone recommends the Fisher Price booster for toddler feeding, but I want something that won't clash too badly with my kitchen. :) Is there something out there? He's 17 months and 30 pounds...

We just retired our highchair and got the cushie tushie booster. I think they make them in different colors ( we have blue)

Thanks, Jeana...I was worried about the lack of a belt on the Cooshie. How old is Nathan?
Nathan is 20 months and has had no probem. The seat is made of a softer rubbery compound and doesnt seem to slide on our chairs. Nathan is my 3rd boy he kind of goes with the flow. I do have one of the other types of boosters that has the tray and it was always coming loose ( the buckles under and behind the chair) and I couldnt see much point in them. I liked the cooshie because it was softer not hard plastic. He thinks he is one of the "big boys" now. ( my older 2 are 13 and 10).
Do what I do with stuff. Buy it save the package and recipt try it for a few days and if you dont like it take it back. I just got mine at our toysrus and they had $3 off in their flyer.

the stokke kinderzeat is certainly a more expensive option, but if you like it & feel like you'll get a variety of uses out of it, then you might find the investment worth it - http://stokkeusa.com/
i like the looks of it, but can't personally rate it because i'm expecting my 1st child & so i'm not to the point of needing a booster seat. but i came across the site when researching strollers. so if you're interested you may want to investigate reviews online.
How about the Handysitt?

The same company that carries MB carries them too:

Jack started with it when he was 19 months old, but he is a fairly "mature" toddler, never been a wild man.

I've seen the Eddie Bauer wood booster seat at BRU. Definitely more sedate looking than the FP model!

LOL! You've already gotten some great suggestions, but I just had to say that I opened your thread because I was trying to figure out how one would put a booster seat on your hip. :P I was thinking maybe it was some sort of hip carrier?

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”
