Default How do babies find nipples in the dark?

This has now boggled my mind since Jazz was born over 14 months ago.
    Touch? Smell? ESP?
I'm guessing it is a combination of the three.

I mean, PITCH black room where *I* don't even know where my nipples are and she latches on before I can get my shirt up. It's really amazing.

    Anyone else?

When I nurse in bed at night we were keeping the light on in the closet so I could see what was going on. But last night I forgot to turn it on before climbing into bed, and he latched on just fine without it. I was impressed! I'm voting for touch and smell and memory.

The only time DS has exhibited ESP is when he wakes up hungry 10 minutes after I've pumped (and an hour earlier than I've expected him to)! Come on...what's up with that? :)

I sometimes think Jazz has sleep ESP. She'll be taking a nap and the *minute* I lie down to catch a nap myself, she wakes up. Maybe I snore. ;)
