Default Best place for prenatal vitamins?

Well Sam's club has stopped carrying prenatal vitamins - it was such a good deal - 350 tablets for < $10. I'm a big fan of generics for this and insurance is $10/month for copays, so OTC is usually better.

Anyone have recommendations of where to get them without breaking the bank?

I'm BF, not TTC right now, should I just switch to a regular multi-vitamin?

I use the Target Brand prenatal vitamins. I've been happy with them.

I also used Target's brand of prenatals. I love them because the pill isn't ginormous.

Ditto. Although the prescription I had wasn't too bad size-wise, either.

CVS- good size, had all the necessary nutrients including ample folic acid! and a good price too.

Check the web sites for the stores people have suggested and look for a sale! Often drug stores will have BOGO on their store-brand vitamins!

I read the OTC prenatal vitamins bottle at Costco and it was the same as taking 2 Flintstones. The difference between the OTC prenatals and the prescription prenatals was the folic acid. You cannot get the same dosage of folic acid OTC in one tablet. I don't know how important the folic acid is when you are breastfeed (as opposed to TTC), the pharmacist did not think that it was necessary to take the higher dosage of folic acid.

I'm using these too, and I really like them. They are a nice size.
