What is Veggie, Pirate Booty?

My dh LOVES veggie booty, so much so that I have to remind him that it is for the children and he shouldn't be eating the entire bag! I like it, but I am not as much of a snacker as my dh.

ETA: I find it either in the organic section of my Shop Rite, or in the snack aisle at Whole Foods.

Opinions vary on the Veggie Booty at our house. Jonathan inhales the stuff, as does the other little girl that stays with him during the day. My husband will munch on it absentmindedly if nothing better is available. And then there's me. I call them "moldy butt Cheetos" because I hate the smell and look.

On the other hand, I love the Smart Puffs by the same manufacturer. So I do think they're worth a try.

I just ordered a case each of the small bags of veggie botty and smart puffs for an on-the-go snack for DD. Amazon is running a special right now. I love pirate's booty, what is the difference between PB and the smart puffs? The ingredients are virtually identical.

Well, we go through about 3 bags in 2 weeks here and DD isn't the only one eating it! :D
I'm actually about to order a case of it since we seem to be devouring so much of it.

No one mentioned Fruity Booty - also very good. I used to buy by the case but I ate it too fast! :)
