Has anyone tried these? I thought they looked interesting, especially for sippy cups at daycare.

They are interesting, but IMO the name needs to be a different color than the band. I have them for both of my boys but they are the same color, so you have to look pretty closely to make sure you are grabbing the right one.

You might want to do a search in "around the house" -- I know it was discussed.

Just wanted to chime in... I got DD a set and really like them! I use them on Sundays when she goes to the nursery and I always get comments on how nice they are. I bought some for my niece for Christmas. They're not super expensive. If you do buy... the bands are a little tight at first but they loosen up.

I just got some about a month ago - both the standard and a custom (did 1st and last name).
I've used them for daycare, and since no one else there has them, they stand out really well. I've used them on bottles and now sippy cups starting this week.
I like that they are easily washable. Before these I was using a label writer with plastic tapes to label everything, but after a handfull of times through the dishwasher they start to peel up at the edges - which is a pain to deal with.

I read on the Bumpyname box that the name is the same color as the band for security. It is VERY difficult to see the name from far away, thereby preventing strangers from learning your child's name. It's a sad world we live in when we have to take measures like this to prevent our children from being hurt, but it does happen. I bought some for my 3 kids and just got different colors for the boys in order to solve the problem. Of course, DD has Pink!
Love them. We're the only ones at our daycare who have them so her cups really stand out. Even our daycare works comment on how easy it is to idenify her cup. I'd say try a package and see if you like them.
They can go through the dishwasher. So now that one is on a cup it never comes off.

Me, too. I'm a SAHM but they're great for nursery, etc.
