How do I post pics so they are not so HUGE?

You need to resize the photo before you upload it to the web. Do you have a photo program that you can use? Usually your digital camera comes with a program if you don't have one already. I usually reduce the picture to 640x840 pixels. For an avatar I usuaully save it as a thumbnail which is 96 pixels. Make sure to save the reduced picture under a different name so you don't overwrite the original.

Also, for your gynosaur ribbon you want to edit your signature and delete the beginning part that starts with http and ends with php>. That way only the ribbon will show up in your signature.
