I'm trying (after 3 years!) to finally add an avatar. The picture I'm trying to use is too big. Is there a way to reduce this? I know NOTHING about this sort of thing. I owned my camera for months before I figured out how to use it at all!

I did it!
Now all I have to do is get a decent picture of the two of them together!
I know people used to do a slideshow thing with two or more pictures, but I haven't noticed it lately. Is this something I could possibly do? I hate just having one of my kids' pictures for an avatar.

RE: Dumb question about avatars
Do you have photo editing software on your computer? If you do, crop the photo square and then resize it to 60x60 pixels (or less). Then you need to host it online, and put the url into your profile here.
