Okay, as it stands now, the following people are interested in getting
a pickle pants (this is the order I got them in):

I'm waiting to hear from Sarah, but as it stands, we do have the 5
soakers we need to place an order. I'm hoping we'll get more interest
so we can place a second order of 5. I'd like to place this order
ASAP so we can get placed in line and get our soakers that much
faster. Could we all have an order ready by Thursday night/Friday
morning? I'd like to place the order sometime around Friday at 11:00
(when DD is down for a nap). If that doesn't sound reasonable, PLEASE
let me know.

Sarah, I'd like to place you in the first order of 5 if you want one, but if you want to hold off, I can put Marilee or Eri in and put you in a second order of 5 (I don't mind placing the order twice).

Okay, will do! For measurements, you need to put a fitted diaper or snappi'd PF or whatever type of diaper you might have under the cover on your DS and then measure the waist (just above the diaper), the rise (just above the diaper in front, down in between his legs and up to just above the diaper in back), and the thighs (just below where the diapers surround his legs).

I'm going to place a quote from an e-mail that Kristen sent Anna for the last COOP about sizing:

"I just measured an XL PP that I have in front of me and the rise on this is 18 3/4 inches. I am estimating my larges to be approx 18 inches and Mediums are about the same rise as larges just different in the hips. Smalls are approx 17 ½ inches in the rise. And newborns are around 17."
"For the leg openings- since they are “short like� they taper down. The part where the legs meet the body of the PP, the opening is approx 11 ¾ inches UNstretched (they will stretch- this is just laying flat on my lap) and then I taper it down a bit to create a more form fit (to ensure no leakage) further down on the leg- again, unstretched it’s 10 inches. This is all the measurements for the XL- I am estimating the larges to be approx 11 at top, 9 ½ at the bottom (mediums are close to larges, just different in the hips so I don’t think the legs are much different). Smalls are probably closer to 10 inches at top and 8 ¾ at the bottom- and the smalls and the newborns have a bit shorter legs in the length than the mediums, larges, and XL’s."
"For anyone who is unsure of what size to order, I am more than happy to do a custom pair to her specifications. Just let me know!"

I hope this helps, Eri! FWIW, I ended up getting a custom size that was sort of a large, but with a longer rise. I'll get something similar this time, except maybe slightly smaller around the thighs.

Hee, hee. How big is your DS anyway? Would he be around Rory's size? That might give you some idea. Or maybe you could run into some of the fluffy Chicago moms and try on some diapers. ;)
