Spaghetti Sauce

I am looking for a great sauce recipe. I had a friend that made one that was kind of spicy and included sausage and meatballs. She will not share the recipe though!! Says its an old family secret...Any help is appreciated.

Hmmmm, I usually wing it. But if you google fra diavolo sauce and puttanesca (salty spicy with anchovies) you should find some contenders. I have a Puttanesca recipe I can post for you later if you want. Super easy, and salty but not fishy.

Now you've made me want homemade sauce! :)

here is a recipe for a bolagnese that I loosely follow. If you want it spicy, just add crushed red pepper flakes.
