I know we have talked about this before.
I completely forgot to take the turkey for tomorrow out of the freezer until sometime around noon today. It's a small turkey (11-12 pounds)- would 24 hours be enough to thaw it?

Typically its 24 hours per every 4-5 pounds of turkey. If it isn't defrosted in the morning, you can soak it in the sink. I've thawed a turkey in a couple hours that way before when it hasn't defrosted all the way.
