DD 1 has the Marathon in the Ashley Floral. While I love the MA, I hate the fabric. In the summer months, especially when she was RF, it made her sweat like made and the back of her hair gets so matted and frizzy.
I'm looking to buy DD2 her own Marathon and I'm wondering if the denim fabric is better in terms of "breathablity". She has crazy hair and just lying on her crib makes the back knot up. I'd hate to spend all summer combing giants knots out of her hair, especially since she'll be RF.
So, should I get the denim? If not, what do you all do about that matted hair/sweaty child syndrome?

We haven't had that same issue yet, but I can tell you the "couture" fabrics are not the same plush fabric the Ashley print is. We have the Sand Dollar one, and it feels more like upholstery fabric. It seems nice for year-round use.
