Default Any edible Easter craft ideas?

I'd like to do a craft with DS that he could take to school as snack. I would prefer not to do cookie cutter cookies, but I'm up for anything else. TIA

What about rice krispy treat bird's nests? Follow the recipe on the side of the cereal box, but when it's time to put all of the marshmallow/cereal goo in the pan, scoop out spoonfuls (it gets easier with practice!) and press them into a muffin tin. I found that scooping the cereal mixture into the muffin tins at one time and then pressing them all into shape at one time was easier than finishing one "nest" at a time. Put some jelly beans in the nest for eggs, and you're done.

That might not work for you if you're just looking for a snack for your DS. I made them for the "treat" part of lunch for DD's class Easter party. You could always cut the recipe in half or quarter it... Old rice krispie treats aren't too appetizing!

Cookie cutters can also be used on other things -- like biscuits.
Then of course there are hardboiled eggs.
    And apple rabbits: http://lunchinabox.net/2007/12/13/ho...apple-rabbits/
