Default Doing plastic book covers over dust jackets?

I am thinking of going anal on hard cover books with dust jackets, and doing them up like our public library, with a plastic book cover that is taped over the book and dust jacket. I am tired of losing our dust jackets, I would just take them all off, but I kind of like how they look.

Can anyone tell me if you have done this and where to get library supplies? I'm not sure if it's worth the time and energy or if I'd keep up with it, but it seems like a thing that would be nice for some special hard cover books.

What do you do with your dust jackets?

    Thanks!

I haven't done it myself, but we have some books that were covered by an elementary school librarian, a former colleague of my mom. My anal side loves it! Here's a link to one place you can buy the supplies: http://www.shopbrodart.com/site_pages/bjc/

Default Store them in a cabinet

My kids read/play with books all the time and they are all over the house. I figure "love marks" show they really enjoyed the book. The more loved the more I will need to save them for the boys children.

I throw out the dust jackets as soon as we buy the book.
