    Default Disney World increases stroller rental prices

    Brace yourself, if you were neeeding to rent a double stroller, it is cheaper to rent a small car!

    Effective Sunday, April 6, 2008, the pricing structure for ECV (Electric Convenience Vehicle) and stroller rentals will be as follows in the Disney Theme Parks and Downtown Disney area

    ECV Rental - $45 per day, with a $20 refundable deposit

    Single Stroller Rental - $15 per day, with no deposit (was $10)

    Length-of-Stay Single Stroller Rental - $13 per day

    Double Stroller Rental - $31 per day, with no deposit (was $18)

    Length-of-Stay Double Stroller Rental - $27 per day

    Holy smokes, that is a huge increase! We are going at the end of April and had planned to rent a double stroller since we don't have one. I think it will be cheaper to buy one!

    I saw this on some disney boards- everyone should write to Disney with their disgust!

    I'm guessing once they see how everyone's strollers from home fill up their buses, they may rethink this price increase!
