Cape May, NJ. Congress Hall is beautiful and has everything you could need. Or you could stay at an Inn. Shopping is nice great restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Or a bed and breakfast outside of New Hope--quite lovely in Bucks County, PA and just over the bridge! Or what about Connecticut? I could get from Philly to Lakeville in about 4 hours I think, so from northern NJ it should be easier.

We stayed at the Whistling Swan Inn in Stanhope, NJ a few years back, and it was wonderful. We also really like the Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA. You can check out both of them, as well as some other nice B&Bs at
