traveling with a stroller

We are planning to bring a BOB Revolution on the plane (gate checked in it's travel bag) on a trip next month. Has anyone gate checked a jogging stroller and had any issues? All the planes are larger (no regional jets) so I am hoping that will help our cause.

I have gate checked our BJCSS 3 or 4 times with no trouble - it may be a little smaller than your BOB, but maybe will help you compare. Finally bought a lighter stroller for airline travel, but it really was more for the PITA of security (joggers don't fit through the x-rays) and overall ease of an umbrella. Our BJ doesn't lock when it's closed, so we just bought some bungee cords to do it ourselves.
