stupid quick question
Are those containers that hold the individual portions of powdered formula "safe" plastic?
I don't have any, yet, and won't be where I can look at them to see...so I figured someone here probably had one and could clue me in. I'm probably going to get one at Walmart next visit.
Here's a link to one similar to ones I'm looking at: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2738037

We have these munchkin single serve ones:

They are waaay better then the round ones, IMO, fit a lot better in the diaper bag.
And, according to this:

these are safe plastic!

I have to wean to formula at 6 months (medical reasons) and when I weaned my son, I found a very good use for all of my leftover breastmilk freezer bags - I used them to store individual portions of formula powder. It's a lot cheaper than the little pre-packaged tubes of formula powder, and it takes up a heck of a lot less room in the diaper bag than the plastic formula dispenser (but I do think that the Avent one, at least, is BPA-free). Plus, the Lansinoh bags have a double seal, so I never had any problems with powder spills.

WAIT, WAIT! Order some of these!!!

We loved them with DD, and when we realized the need to supplement DS, we ordered 3 packages. They are fantastic for being away from home! Just keep a Sharpie in the drawer where you scoop the formula into it and you can write exactly how much water you need to add, what time to give the bottle, any warming instructions, etc.
They work for rice cereal on the go also!
