DH and I are going to LA for a long weekend for a wedding. We really have only one full day to go to a theme park so we cant decide between Sea World and Universal.
Can you tell me which one you prefer and why?
Any other ideas greatly appreciated!

Sea World! No Contest! Universal Burned Down!
Sea World. Even if you are traveling without the kids.
I live in SoCal and have been to both. IMO, Universal is lame unless you are a huge, huge, huge movie fan. The stuff at Universal Studios isn't *all* that interesting. Plus a major part of the back lot just burned down a week ago. And the back lot tour was BY FAR the best part about Universal Studios. So now the best thing it has going isn't really going, YKWIM?
Sea World is in San Diego, which is an awesome city, even if it is only for a day, so you could do the park in the AM and early afternoon and hit the town for dinner or something. If it were me, I would RUN to Sea World. If you want to do Universal, at least wait until the rebuild the best part of it- the back lot!

My vote would be Disneyland.
I think Seaworld is pretty lame.
