Default The difference between these 2 mattresses

    Hi,

I am a reseller for Pure Rest/Ecobaby. The reason I work with them and not many of the other companies is that I know the owner and just how seriously she takes these products. She started the company because there were no options for her kids in the organic industry that she felt safe about.

Also, I can tell you that they take these products so seriously that it is a continual challenge to keep prices updated. If there is ever anything that isn't perfect they scrap it and go right after the newest and best.

I don't know about Naturepedic prices since I do not sell their products. Having said that, the ecobaby products are absolutely stellar.

You may need to check it in person to fill the firmness of each one. I heard that ecobaby is not that firm. Also, check whether they use organic wool because wool may contain arsenic.

I was debating between these two brands too and went with naturepedic because I could not find any local store carry ecobaby mattress. At that time, I look around for the reviews on these brands and only found ones with naturepedics(all positive as of June 2008). I also didn't want to deal with the leak issue because the wool mattress pad was not 100% leak proof. We live in NYC where we don't have a yard. If you do, the ecobaby may work for you because you can take it out to the sun if accidents occur.

In term of my experience with naturepedic. So far, they have been good. I have a twin size for my DC#1 and a crib one for DC#2. HTH!
