    Default Today I'm a Canadian!

I don't know whether this goes here, or in the lounge, but I had my swearing-in ceremony today, so I am now officially a Canadian citizen This has been a very long time coming, so I am happy it finally happened, even though it was too late for the election. It was a very nice ceremony, and my mom happens to be visiting so she was able to have DS sit with her so he could watch me. He enjoyed the clapping and the singing, but not so much the waiting.

Congrats! Several years ago I went to the American citizenship ceremony for a co-worker who was originally from Lebanon. The atmosphere was so festive! Everyone happy and waving flags. Sounds like your ceremony was enjoyable too.

Laura - congratulations on the birth of your second child. I don't know if I missed the announcement or not as I've been very busy with work these days, but when you have time, give us all the details!!! I hope you're all well, and getting to know each other back at home

Congratulations! Where do I send the toque and satellite subscription to Hockey Night in Canada, LOL.

I'm raising a Molson's, toasting you from the WetCoast.
