    Default Question about cookies

It's a dumb question, but I've never baked this kind of thing before, so...

I need to make sugar cookies with sugar sprinkles (the tiny transparent ones that look like glass) on top. I bought the refrigerated cookie dough and the sugar sprinkles and my question is:
Do I put the sprinkles on the cookie dough before I put it in the oven (wouldn't it melt into a big mess)? or after I take it out of the over (how would it stick to the cookies than)?

    Thank you!

You put sprinkles on before you bake them, no they won't melt. If you do it after they really won't stick well.

Alternatively, if you prefer, after cooking the cookies without sprinkles and they have completely cooled, you could frost the cookies and add the sprinkles then. You can buy frosting in a can in the cake mix aisle at the grocery store. Would be more messy though.

    Thank you ladies!

My son's preschool is having a red-orange-yellow art show (don't ask me why). I am supposed to supply cookies for the occasion...
