Belly button care

I've had this nagging question for a while now. How do you clean the belly button - cotton/ soap and water ? Btw, DC is 3 months old now.

Nothing....never even thought to do anything. I don't do anything with mine. I just wipe his chest down w/ a washcloth.

Dd's was not closed up all the way after stunp fell off, so we had to do some additional care, like cleaning with alcohol and a q-tip when she had forward blow out poopy dipes and twice got poop in her belly button! (hello run on sentence!)

Now that it''s normal, we do nothing except make sure to dry it when we bathe her.
