Default OT: Canadian small appliance in U.S. outlet?

A small electric (kitchen) appliance purchased in Canada won't work with a U.S. outlet, will it????

What's the plug like? I have a European Beaba with a step down transformer to make it work. I was scared about it when the CL seller included it, but it works fine. No idea about Canadian stuff. I don't remember anything different from my one visit to Whistler.

Canada and the USA are exactly the same in terms of electricity. It's all 110V and the plug is identical. Use your small appliance and enjoy
