    Default Suggestions for development book

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for books about development for 1 year old+. I got the What to Expect Series when I was pregnant and for the first year of my baby, and I've only been lukewarm to them. Anyone have any suggestions?

I like Your 1 Year Old by Ames and Ilg. The series goes up to at least age 10.

I like the American Academy of Pediatrics' book "Caring for your Baby and Young Child through Age 5". I feel that it does a good job discussing the physical, emotional and cognitive development in each of the age categories they have. It gives you guidelines to look for within time periods.

"The Baby Book" by Dr. Sears is one of my favorite go-tos but it only goes up to 2yo. Might be worth checking out at the library.
