Default Car Seat Covers/ Poppit- opinions

My Baby #2 is due in March, and in New England, it is still likely to be cold. I heard that it is a bad idea to put heavy coats for car rides, but I heard about Poppit by Kiddopotamus.

I have not seen this product in stores, so would be great to hear from someone who used it.

Are there any other similar products on the market that you'd recommend.

I had this (in a tan color) and used it for all 3 of my kids through our freezing Canadian winters! It fit the snugride perfectly but I had to modify it with some longer elastic and buttons to fit on the safeseat

It was easy to get the kids in and out of the harness and I liked that it didn't cover their little faces. All winter long all they ever wore was a hat and light sweater - after I secured the harness I would tuck a light blanket around them, zip up the cover and we were off.
