Default Glider Chair in Toddler's Room?

We're in the process of moving our little guy (almost 2.5 years old) to a new room to make room for his little brother who'll be joining us in May. Aside from the fact that I'm totally nervous about moving him from a crib to a bed, as I think that's going to be a huge battle - I'm excited about giving him a new big boy type space. My question is...do you think I still need a glider in the room? Currently we'll read a book and pray before bed in the chair, but that's it. I'm thinking we could just do this on the bed instead, but I didn't know what other people have in their toddler's room so I thought I'd throw it out there.

    Thanks for the help!

We gave the glider/ottoman to the baby. DD loves for us to crawl into her full bed and read with her. Then she pushes us out saying, "Goodnight, please go now. I don't want you in my bed anymore." DS is happy to get a snuggle and a story in the glider, and DD climbs in for his stories if she's around.
