OK I was flipping through a catalog today and had a total 80s flash back!!! Anthropologie is selling a parachute pant they are calling "pleated carrot trousers" I have just been told by every how to dress show for the last 15 years how terrible pleats are and here they are bringing them back with the oh so cool tight at the bottom pant. I loved these in '89, there's no way in he!! I'm wearing these in 2009!!!! Sometimes I wonder if these places even want to sell clothes!?!?!?

Wow, haven't seen those for a while. I like how the description says they're "fashion forward".
I think this is another trend I'll skip, especially since I skipped it the first time too!

If you reeeeeally want them badly, I think I have an extremely similar pair from circa 1988 - and they're even European! Purchased in Switzerland
