    Question To Young For Teething?

is a month old to young for teething? my DD has been crying excessively and chewing on anything she can keep near her mouth as she hasnt got the hang of holding things yet. this has been hapening for a few weeks and when it first started i took her to the pediatrician and he said it was colic. but now it has gotten worse and i can feel bumps on her gums and when she cries it looks like she has teeth coming in. i know a nurse and she took a look at DD today and she says that it could be that DD is getting teeth but she cant be sure. im going to set up another appointment as soon as possible but until then does anyone have any ideas what i can do to help DD feel better?

I think it is too soon for teething. If I were guessing I would say growth spurt. If feeding helps keep at it because these growth spurts can come on suddenly, be intense and cause baby to be looking like they want something in their mouth.
