Default Anyone stayed in a Fort Wilderness cabin?

We just started looking into going to WDW and would prefer something with a bedroom so we're not disturbing the kids while they're sleeping. The price on these is right- we don't want to pay for a "deluxe", just wondering how they are.

Friends of mine stayed there with their two kids and really liked them.

Some friends of ours were there for 5+ days a few years ago when we were living in FL and we ended up staying with them for 2 nights. The cabins were great, the lodge was cool and transportation to the parks was no big deal. I think there were some playgrounds and there were pony rides right at the campgrounds. It was lots of fun. If we ever go back and do a long trip to WDW I would strongly consider staying there.

    Default Cabins at Fort Wilderness

I have stayed in the cabins on 2 different trips and I love them! It gets you away from the hecticness of the crowds. They are very nice quality! We will tend to buy breakfast food and eat there to save money. You will want to rent a golf cart at fort wilderness. The kids will love it and it is a great way to get around! Hope this helps!
