    Oh so sad!

I love my hotsling! I bought it for DD2 and used it constantly the first few months with both her and DD3.

I was just coming to post this. I am shocked. I wonder how many of the smaller makers will fold as well. Sad.
"Someday, I am going to go to bed without toys on the floor and sippys in my sink. Things will stay where I put them and I can have nice, fragile items on display. But when I do, I will look around with a wistfullness in my heart and miss the days where vibrant imaginations ran wild and there was evidence of life happening around me all the time!"

I have never bought a hotsling because I am not a fan of slings but this is still very frustrating to hear. Ugh, I loathe Infantino and their negligence.

Oh no! I love my hotsling! It's so easy to use, DS loves it too. I guess now that we're TTC #2 I should go ahead and buy a couple of the slings I like before they become totally unavailable. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I really, really want to get a couple of new ones for our next child.

I've never used a hot sling, are they better than the Baby Bjornes?

That's like comparing apples to oranges. Neither is "better" than the other and it really depends on your preference and your baby's preference.

If you hated your Bjorn, you might do fine with a sling, wrap or soft-structured carrier instead.

FWIW, a wrap carrier can also be tied to function as a sling, so something like a SleepyWrap, Moby, GypsyMama or EllaRoo wrap might also be a good option for someone who likes slings but probably won't be able to get one due to the freakout with the Infantino bag-sling recall and people not being able to tell the difference.

Thanks, now I'm more curious but I'll leave that for another thread.
