Thanks for posting this Jo! This will be great for those rainy summer days.

    Default cheap bowling shoes?

We got in on kids free bowling offer but we still need to pay for shoe rental. It looks like it will add up quite a bit if we keep going. We might as well buy some bowling shoes. Anyone know any deals? What makes a shoe bowling shoe? I checked Amazon.com and it looks like it comes to around $30 with shipping. Any ideas to get them cheaper?

Just bowl in your socks - you don't have to have bowling shoes - at least we didn't "back in the day". You just need something comfortable and they won't leave any marks on the wood...and they haven't been worn outside. Bowling shoes often allow you to "slide" as part of the form/technique.
