    Default simple crafts for 2yr old?

    hi there.

    looking for some simple crafts to make with ds. esp ones that use everyday/household objects.

    two that i have seen are:

    paper plate spider with folded construction paper legs (simple)
    windsock (tube of construction paper with crepe paper streamers)

    tia. just looking for a once a week fun thing to do with little guy.

    hmmm..along the lines of the spider, you can do a turtle with an upside down plastic/paper/foam bowl. Attach 4 little feet sticking out, a tail, and a head and youre good to go! DS can color the plate green/brown or glue on colored paper pieces. For the spider, he'll have a great time with it if you pop a piece of yarn thru the center of the plate and let him "walk" the spider around. KWIM?

    You can make play-doh together (a good outside activity)

    You can paint macaroni and glue it onto a popsicle stick and make it into a frig magnet- or make any kind of magnet for that matter.

    You can make a fun hat together

    Depending on his fine motor skills, you can string a necklace together- use wide macaroni like ziti and string onto yarn. You can paint the macaroni first to stretch it into a two day project.
