    I'm sending thoughts her way.

I sent a PM your way.

Don't let your experience with Ragan color your thoughts. We're all different. Many more of us are trail-worn, but still going strong after facing cancer. She will be around for a long time and will be a great mom. You will be old and gray together.

I didn't have to deal with this with pregnancy hormones raging, but I did have a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction (then chemo + radiation) with 3 kids under 6. It totally sucks and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but this too shall pass... It is amazing what you can do when you don't have a choice.

Take care... And do those exams! While not perfect, they are the ONLY way that younger women can identify issues while there are treatment options available.

Thank you, everyone. Yesterday I volunteered at Tri for the Cure. I had already signed up to volunteer, but it took on special meaning after Amy's diagnosis. I shared hugs and tears with lots of women. I had an awesome moment with a survivor while helping her figure everything out for her first triathlon.

I've lined up a few people for her to talk to (including Stephanie, thank you so much!) for support. Another friend is putting together a Google Calendar for meals. Once we know her treatment plan, we'll help her coordinate childcare and whatever else she needs during her treatment.

Keep those thoughts and prayers coming!
