Wink What kid friendly kitchen gadgets do you like/use/recommend?

DS loves to cook so I am always on the lookout for more kid friendly kitchen gadgets. Right now a favorite is the lettuce knife he can use to cut things. Its plastic and won't cut little fingers but cuts lots of other things pretty well. He also loves his Williams Sonoma apron (bought on sale from a tip from here) and a non stick rolling pin that makes rolling cookies out easier. Would love to hear your recommendations including kid friendly cookbooks.

Our 3 year old DD1 loves her silicone whisk, chopsticks, and regular wooden mixing spoons. We let her use a butter knife for any cutting.

She also loves to make ice cream in the ice cream maker ball.

We have a crinkle cutter from For Small Hands, as well as their olive wood nutcracker. DS was so excited about that gosh darn nutcracker when he got it LOL, it was unbelievable We buy bags of mixed nuts in the shell during the holidays when they are more readily available and he adores cracking them.

We have a kid-sized sifter as DS likes using mine, but the handle is big for little hands. We found ours at Goodwill for like 50 cents.

Both kids love the egg slicer and garlic press.

DS is 5.5 and makes his own scrambled eggs with just supervision from us at this point...he looooooves to cook.

A second vote for the cherry pitter. Jonathan also likes using the pastry blender when we make muffins or bread - he can mix the dry ingredients but spills less than with a spoon.
