Default Please help ID this book from my childhood

I am racking my brain trying to remember the title of this book. I was maybe 7 or 8 yrs old (1982-3) and I remember fighting over who got to check it out from our school library so it much have been a popular one that year.
Its a fiction kid's book about a town is which everything is backwards one day (dogs driving cars, people walking backward, etc). Unfortunately, that's all I can remember but it was funny (well, to a 7 yr old at least). I would love to find it and read it to my kids. Hope I am not disappointed! Its probably not at all humerous anymore but I loved it way back when!

    Thanks!

No, not that book. But thanks!

I remembered more! One page shows a boy walking (the narrator or main character) and it shows various "wrong" things in the picture. So, one page showed the dog driving, a baby pushing a mom in the stroller, etc.

    Is it a picture book?

BTW, the pics you are describing do sound straight out of Wacky Wednesday!

Does this look like it could be it? PPs seem to think it's Wacky Wednesday, so thought I'd look it up. If you go to Amazon and click on the "Look Inside" option, you can see a few more pages. There is a page of women pushing baby strollers, but not one of a baby pushing the stroller. http://www.amazon.com/Wacky-Wednesda...dp/0394829123#

Ok, now I feel REALLY stupid! I assumed I knew what Wacky Wednesday was. I just googled it and low and behold IT IS the book! How can I have not known it was a popular Dr. Seuss book. Geez!

Thanks! Off to buy this book for my own kids!

FYI - I just picked up a compilation of Seuss books at Costco (the Big Green Beginner Books, or something like that) and it has Wacky Wednesday in it. I don't remember it, but I had fun reading it to DD!
