For those of you that have ordered capes from Superflykidz - what's the turnaround for her putting it in the mail? And are you happy with the quality?

The only reason I ask is that I have a friend that sells capes through his small business (the brand is LittleHeroCapes). The turnaround on those is 2-3 weeks, and shipping to Canada, I doubt it would make it in time. Also, the price is significantly more than the Superfly ones. I *had* planned on ordering from my friend's store, but now it looks like we'll be staying in Canada for Xmas, so I need something more quickly if I'm going to do it, and I'm just fishing for reviews, good or bad.

For mine, it was 2 weeks, but she let me know her house had the flu, so that is not her norm...

The quality is good. I would buy another!

    I think we're done here!

    DD (almost 2) is getting:

-snap n style doll (wow, they are so cool!) and the Christmas outfit. She'll actually get the doll Sun at the church party
-my first doll house and most of the furniture sets (between us, SIL and my mom). I'll reserve the big sister set for her b-day in March
    -the costco doll crib
-corolle calin and the diaper bag set (MIL)
-a pirate ship ornament (they were both pirates for Halloween)
-etsy ring sling and cloth diapers

I'd like to make her a fleece tied blanket and a matching one for her doll crib. DS has a Thomas one he loves

    DS is getting:
    -the costco Cars Geotrax set
-a small used digital camera (real not kids)
-2 more remotes for the cars set (IL's)
-the sally track set for the cars set
-a ball roller (handmade that we got a good deal on when we bought new furniture from a local Mennonite store!)
    -a pirate ship ornament

I feel like I went overboard on DD but these are really the first real toys she's had. We're swimming in trains, truck and cars and it is sooooooo fun to buy dollhouses, dolls and doll stuff! And she's really into the baby dolls so I think they'll get a lot of play. I can't wait to give the stuff to her!

Our lists have totally changed since September! This is why I don't shop early.

T, the 6 year old science lover is getting:

Wii Fit Plus- he was really enthusiastic about wanting this. It's his big gift.
Books: Science experiment book, Chess strategy book, Book about Abraham Lincoln. Copy of the Polar Express to read to F when he gets older.
Here comes Science CD (They might be giants)
Snap Circuits (darn it and yay! sales and BBB bargains!)
Bedding that we meant to give him for his b-day but never did. Then F can have his train bedding when we move him to the lower twin bunk.

In his stocking: used magnifying glass, inexpensive binoculars, this spinning magnet toy thing, a number puzzle game, a little ball puzzle toy.

We decided against any more legos since we got him Wii Fit and because I know he will get them from others in all likelihood.

F, the nearly 1 year old mellow fellow is getting:

    Cardboard nesting stacking blocks
    HABA first blocks- used
HABA stacking toy and pull toy- used
4 different baby books, including Tails
    bigger pjs

Stocking- little thing for holding snacks, baby fork, teething toys (no teeth yet)

F's 1st Bday is SUNDAY the 27th. So 2 days later dude gets:

    Used HABA Walker Wagon
    Some more books
Like new but purchased at a used sale FP Phone

ETA: I ended up reversing the walker wagon and the pull/stack toys so he got the wagon for Christmas (used find) and will get some of the toys he was going to get for Christmas for his birthday...in 2 days. So it is neither here nor there when he gets what IYKWIM.
