How much do you usually spend at Costco?

I went to Costco for the first time yesterday and went a little nuts. I spent about $300 in groceries and one toy. How much do you normally spend there and how often do you go?

Maybe $50ish in groceries every week? I picked up cod fish for the kids, organic chicken, organic spinach, organic sliced apples and organic soy milk there my last trip and the bill came up to over $50.

Less than $100 (probably closer to $60 even)- about once/ month. I don't think I have ever dropped $300 at any grocery store unless it was before Thanksgiving and I was feeding a lot of people.

~$200 every 6 weeks or so. Really depends on what I am buying, but that is average.

The ongoing joke at my office when I run out there to shop (both my girls here ALWAYS have a list for me for themselves) is that everything at Costco is "about 10 bucks" - and it normally is.

I'd say for my family - we average about 60-75/week for our regular Costco items we buy.

Usually about $200 every 2 months (maybe every 1.5 months depending). But, $40 of that is always diapers, and sometimes we're buying wipes too.

I think I will try to only go every 2 months to keep things under control. I don't think we will need cereal until 2010.

We're doing $50-$60 on our BJ's runs ... and it's pretty much all food for me. (I like the UHP chocolate milk in 18-box cases and the "Berkely and Jensen" brand apple juice. This last run, we also bought Nutella.)

I expect it'll go up once our LO comes along in March (diapers, wipes, IDK what else!!!) but for now, we're doing 1-2 times per month and no major purchases.
