Any idea how much professional babyproofing costs? I'm just so overwhelmed. We are not handy AT ALL. I'm not rich but i almost have no choice but pay somebody.

We got a quote from a professional before DS was crawling. I asked for him to babyproof the living room, kitchen, DS' room, two stairway openings and to add doorknob covers on three other doors. I believe the quote we received was for $1,800.00. I asked specific questions about the products they would use and found out they were charging us $100 not including installation for gates that we could buy for $40. We hired our contractor to install the gates and kitchen cabinet locks and I've done the rest of the items myself slowly. GL

Thank you. That is helpful info.
The babyproofing company i called quoted me $70 for installation plus the cost of $20 brackets. I supply the gates.
I'm gonna exhaust my options before I go this route .
