    Default The trip home

Any idea what to take to entertain a 10-month old on the trip home from China (on the plane)?

We brought a 10 month old home from Ethiopia. He slept alot of the trip and honestly when he was awake he just wanted to play with the stuff in the seat pockets.

Would you believe - waxed paper? They can crinkle it, put it in their mouths (it'll last longer than regular paper, and it's food-safe). DS#1 was only 5 1/2 months when we brought him home from Korea, but he LOVED to play with crumpled paper.

    Congratulations and safe travels!

food, books, toys that make noise, and lots of patience. We made the mistake of giving our 10 month old Benadryl on the flight home - she was one of those who get wild from it. She was bouncing off the walls of the plane the whole way home.

Congratulations - we have been home 3 1/2 years with DD and 1 1/2 years with DS. It was much easier keeping a 10 mo entertained than the 2 two year olds on the 2nd trip.
