My fav appetizer "receipe": artichoke/jalapeno dip warmed up from Costco and Costco tortilla strips.

Another one: block of velveta cubed, 1 can beanless hormel chili, dump some salsa in to taste and warm in a crockpot. Serve with tortilla chips. A heartstopper, but everyone loves it.

Love the cheesecake dip - we do it all the time for guests. Another person who never touches MF in any other form.

    Another easy one

    1 jar seafood cocktail sauce
2 16oz blocks softened cream cheese
1 package fake (or equivalent amount real) crab meat

Mix - either serve with butter crackers or take burrito size tortillas, spead thin layer and roll up. Slice roll into 1/4 inch slices and arrange on plate.

I don't have proportions, but one of the cheese counter people had this out for sampling at WF a few weeks ago and I've been trying to figure out when I'm going to make it. Mascarpone cheese mixed with dried cranberries and honey. She was serving in on these crazy expensive, but incredibly good crisps with dried fruit and seeds in them. It was like butter on a cracker.

What kind of crackers do you serve it with? I'm headed to the grocery
    after lunch.

    Thanks!!

I've eaten this with baguette slices, ritz type crackers and also tortilla chips.... all yummy! If you want to make it look fancier you could hollow out a sourdough bread round!
