    Default Crayons/Art Supplies

Suggestions for crayons and other art supplies for a 18 month old? Or, is my DC too young?

we do a few art projects - DS is always in the high chair at the table and I'm sitting next to him -

we do one color of play dough at a time - Just the little small party container -
I roll into a bunch of little balls - and DS puts them in the empty container and tries to put the lid on -

one marker and a piece of paper - yes marker does go in his mouth - but it is non-toxic so I don't worry

we did one painting project - for a present - not something I'll do on a regular basis.

I asked a similar question about "age appropriate art" a few days ago and many of the responses may be helpful to you.

I just bought 16 mo dd an art pad and triangular crayons from Melissa & Doug. She does "art" at daycare often and loves it. Now when I am making notes at home, she insists on drawing on whatever I am writing on.
