    Default The letter "D" and also pictures

    What does the letter "D" in "DS", "DD", "DC", "DH" stand for? I understand the son, daughter, child, husband part...but the D is confusing me.

    Also, where are people getting those adorable little pictures at the bottom of their threads (their footers or signatures) that show how far along they are, or how old their kids are??

    D is for darling. I think of the D in DH as Dashing

    I always thought the "D" was for "Dear." Same basic meaning, either way!

    I got my signature pictures from lilypie.com.

    There is a list of Common Abbreviations pinned to the top of this forum. HTH! (Hope This Helps!)

    As for the tickers, www.lilypie.com is the most popular, but there are also other sources such as www.baby-gaga.com and www.tickerfactory.com.

    tried to paste the html in the signature block and all it showed was the html code--even when wrapped with the [HTML] blocks. what am I doing wrong?

    What I do:
    while in the signature edit place, click on the yellow box with mountains on it above the text area (Insert Image). Open that and insert just the http part.

    for example, if this is the html I got;
    <a href="http://lilypie.com/"><img src="http://lmtf.lilypie.com/1RYVm5.png" width="400" height="80" border="0" alt="Lilypie Maternity tickers" /></a>,
    I'd put only http://lmtf.lilypie.com/1RYVm5.png in the Insert Image area.

    The "D" means 'dear' or 'darling' - except when I post a b!tch about my hubby - then the "D" stands for 'dumb' !
