    My cousin had a nipple reattached back in the 80's VERY rare! Her son bit it right off....

    Oh, Dear God... Say it ain't so! I've got goosebumps and sore nipples just reading that one!

    And to those who have managed to stay calm while you're being bitten... you have more control over your emotions than I! But I have to say that DS only bit me ONCE... I think the involuntary yowl I let out scared him enough that he never did it again.

    I just grabbed both my ta-tas in reflex. OMG.

    FWIW I'm not a calm-by-nature kinda mommy. DD bit me I think all of two times. The first one I shouted/yelped and jumped a mile. I think that coupled with my stern look is what made her cry right away. The second one was a couple days later, and was met with a really loud NO and an ending of the nursing session. That was it for us. OP, I hope you guys find what works for you soon!
