I was just looking at this recipe this morning!
To the OP - here is my plan:
Monday: pasta with homemade meat sauce using Watson Burger (ground venison w/ pepper & onion, a specialty of an upstate deer processor), salad
Tuesday: I oven roasted a 4lb chicken during the day today - pulled the meat off the bone and saved the meat and bones, etc. separately - will make a batch of chicken stock tomorrow to freeze. Dinner tonight is Watson Burgers with homemade buns (DH is making them now), Alexa brand fries & onion rings, and broccoli
Wednesday: I think maybe we'll try Pioneer Woman's Chicken Spaghetti using chicken from today and have roasted Brussels sprouts from this thread
Thursday: beef roast in the crockpot with potatoes, carrots, onions. alternative is beef roast in the crockpot w/ a jar of pepperoncini (liquid and all) and then shredded on rolls
Friday: leftovers
Saturday: homemade pizza
Sunday: with family to watch superbowl
Now that I'm looking at it, this week is much heavier on meat than we usually do. I wanted to get some stuff in the freezer (stock) and use other freezer/pantry items (fries/onion rings, pepperoncini, pimento, etc.).
