Default Trader Joes prepared meals in plastic...

do you heat them in the plastic? After the recent threads, I ventured to our TJs and bought a couple things, including frozen mac n cheese and a frozen chinese dish.

The mac n cheese was in plastic and was cooked in the oven.

The chinese was microwaved in plastic and covered with plastic. The plastic dish it was in cracked during the microwaving (on the side).

I really never cook in plastic and I never microwave in plastic, but I bought these things and so I did.

    What do you do?

I typically dump the contents into Corning Wear and cook them.

I would put into a porcelain bowl. I don't microwave anything in plastic.
