I used a combination of LE gold and striped blue bedding. Gold- crib skirt, coverlet Striped blue - sheets, light coverlet.

Walls are BM Yarmouth blue. The room faces west with a lot of light so the color doesn't look this dark. It has a nice greyish tone at night.

I have sand colored room darkening curtains up. The carpet is sand colored too. I put a few prints up on the walls for color but nothing really matches. Plenty of toys and books in the hutch for color. Nothing too exciting, but I think it feels very relaxing in there.

    Great pictures! ...Beautiful rooms.

Default 1st time mom needs shopping advice

Hi! All your photos and ideas are adorable! We're expecting our first baby August 20th- a girl! We're going with a girly, but not too frilly, cottage/garden theme with green walls similar to the Alphabet soup wall color and white paneling. We're throwing in lilac and pink accents. Here are few images I've fallen in love with:

I think we've narrowed our crib down to either Munire, Baby Cache or AP Industries...in white.

But now I'm looking at bedding and everything I like seems really pricey for an infant! Does anyone have good tips for where to purchase good quality, creative bedding for less than $340/set?? Either online sites, or if you're near DC metro, any mid-range priced stores?
