Default Warm weather blankets for DC's beds?

What are you all using that isn't too warm (DC run hot and can't fall asleep if they're too warm) but that gets them through that late night/early morning cool?

At night DC often want sheets only pulled over them. We have some thin fleece blankets that I leave at the foot of the beds but they don't always grab them and then complain when they're cold in the morning. I'm thinking a cotton blanket would be better to leave on all night.

Also larger would be better. Anything that is the size of a throw gets balled up and dropped to the side.

I go in just before I go to bed (11ish) and if DS1 is uncovered I pull up the light quilt if it is warm but likely to cool down over night.

Not the right size for you, but we use toddler sized quilts like this one:

They keep my ds just right.

a woven cotton blanket might do the trick for you... breathes better than fleece too. Or a thin cotton quilt.

    something like this

or a simple thin quilt/coverlet like this

Thanks. I think I'll grab a couple woven cotton blankets. They should be easy to find this time of year.
